The NUSD San Andreas school site located just south of San Marin Drive off San Andreas Drive has sat vacant for many years. With the projection of continued declining enrollment, preliminary explorations for use of the site (such as housing for teachers, City and Fire employees along with Market Rate housing) are being considered by NUSD.
